Stephanie Ludwig

Director

Stephanie Ludwig is a program manager working with EGI’s business and industry programs.

An experienced program manager, Stephanie leads several initiatives that support companies across multiple industries in stabilizing, growing and diversifying their businesses.  In her work at EGI, she helps connect and leverage resources, funding, and technology to help local companies succeed.

Stephanie has worked with 30+ firms across Michigan.  Her accomplishments include working with company leadership to address business gaps, supporting company succession planning and transition, and assisting companies with resiliency efforts.  She is also addressing fast evolving needs in cybersecurity, helping defense suppliers  identifying cybersecurity needs and remediation resources.

Coming from a small community, Stephanie is passionate about ensuring local businesses remain a strong and vibrant asset to the communities they support. She is energized by the sense of community pride and identity that local companies bring to the area they represent.

Prior to joining the Economic Growth Institute, Stephanie managed a global business team that provided a variety of product and systems certification programs in the public health and safety sector. She worked with thousands of clients and suppliers across the globe to assist in providing risk management solutions with a mission to protect and improve public health through testing, inspection, and certification..

Outside of work,  Stephanie spends time with her husband and 2 cats.  As a recent empty nester (3 kids), she enjoys travel, camping and watching sunsets.

Stephanie has a B.S. from Michigan State University.

Paul Crossley

Senior Project Manager

Prior to joining GLTAAC in April 2018, Paul operated his own manufacturing and supply chain consulting business. He has worked as a consultant for QP Group on supply chain and procurement projects. Paul also worked at the adult beverage company Diageo PLC for 10 years in the areas of Engineering, Production Planning, Supply Chain Operations, and Project Management. Paul holds a BS in Industrial and Operations Engineering from the University of Michigan and an MS in Engineering Management from Eastern Michigan University. He is a Project Management Professional (PMP), certified through Project Management Institute (PMI).

Jani Hatchett

Project Manager

Jani joined the Great Lakes TAAC in November 2019 and currently leads outreach efforts including direct one-on-one engagement with manufacturers in Michigan, Indiana, and Ohio who have been directly hurt by imports, offering assistance with accessing the program. She also connects with manufacturing industry associations, as well as regional business support and economic development organizations, to provide resources for manufacturers through the wider business support ecosystem. Jani welcomes the opportunity to help companies use TAAF assistance so they can meet their goals and become more competitive globally.

Prior to joining the GLTAAC, Jani worked in finance and consulting, and she was the co-founder of a reputation management company that dealt with her clients’ with global reach. Jani has a strong natural talent for creating common ground, is a skilled presenter and facilitator, and brings to the team a successful background in prospecting and closing client leads.
